And I’m STILL plugging away!

June 6, 2019 By: Lucy8 Comments

Hubs came home for ten days, so I didn’t get much time behind my computer.  Thanks to those of you who checked in on me.  I’m still trying to catch up but wanted to give a quick update as to how we did in May.

We exceeded my goal for the furnace, reducing the amount owed by $1,650.  Balance is now $4,100.

Our Visa received the usual $200, bringing it down to $7,448.12.  After factoring interest, it was reduced by $163.69.

May turned out to be a good month with dumping $1,813.69 of baby step two debt.  Our total amount owed is now $11,548.12.

So there you have it!  I’m hoping to have a bit more time this coming weekend to blog.  Between my job with the kiddo (and picking up extra hours), my business and Hubs being home, things have been a bit busy around here.  That being said, I need to get ready for work!

We still had a little snow left during the holiday weekend. I *think* we shouldn’t see any more for a few months…or at least I hope not!

Progress is always good. We will take stock of our finances at the end of the month, the 6 month point of the year.

I agree. I’ll take all the progress we can get. I’m eager to read about your midway point, too!

Ugh. Your comment ended in my spam. No clue why. Sorry for the delay in seeing it. Yes, we do keep plugging away!

Frugal Friday

Making our money behave. Yesterday was payday!  Yay, especially since I was down to $23 in my wallet, $20 of which was earmarked for the empty gas tank in my car.  Aside from the bills we pay online and checks to our church; we primarily use cash.  In doing so, we make our money behave.
