What a messed-up week for Hubs. He is still in his “new-to-him” rig. This morning, he decided that if they fix the issues, it *might* not be too bad of a truck after all. All of this, of course, is subject to change as different dash lights and noises occur. Hubs could be back to thinking it is a pile of garbage by the end of the day, but hey, let’s think positive! Today was my day to go to the city and do some shopping. At some point, I’d like to start only shopping bi-weekly. In general (at least for me), the more I stay out of stores, the less I tend to spend. Shopping and sticking to a list helps too. [Read more…]

When it comes to saving money, packing your lunch seems to be one of the most listed items. When (as in the case with Hubs) you’re an over-the-road trucker, multiple this by all three meals, packing your food becomes a huge money saver!
